Replaced starter on 2000 Nissan Maxima and still wont start. Suggestions?
I replaced the fried starter on my 2000 Nissan Maxima and after replacing it with a bad reman starter that would not engage the drive gear i discovered a wire had somehow been cut during the install. I went and purchased a new starter and repaired the
look around for a loose wire on it you may have knocked one loose when doing that those are kind of stubborn to work on sometimes but even i have knocked a wire loose and had to go back over it and find it,good luck.
