changed fuel pump, still doing same thing starts, sputters then quits

Follow the fuel lines up from the gas tank and you'll find the fuel filter. Most Chevys put them under the body, but some are under the hood.
You may have a problem with your fuel pump relay or wiring somewhere. If not, it sounds like a firing
