i really like the way it looks and im not sure what car im getting but it will problly be an eclipse or tiberon or maybe a civic or rx8/rx7 im not sure

As long as the sun is shining warm and bright, there is no such thing as a bad convertible. Marry a folding roof with a shapely 2+2 body, a willing engine and an exhaust note that is as mellow and rich as a tenor sax and things just get better.
That said, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder is definitely past its best-before date, to the point that anybody interested in the droptop (or coupe) had better make a dash to the dealership — production has stopped and 2012 is the last year for the car, with no plans for a new generation or an equivalent replacement. Along with the decision to drop the Lancer Evo, the loss of the Eclipse line leaves Mitsubishi with nothing to carry on the company’s sporting heritage.
Yet, truth be told, it’s not that the fourth-generation Eclipse is a truly sporty roadster. The arrival of the third-generation model (2000 to 2005) saw the company rid the line of the available all-wheel drivetrain in favour of front-drive only as well as the potent turbocharged four-cylinder in return for a V6. When coupled with the car’s increased weight, the Eclipse lost a lot of the equity the first two generations had garnered among the import tuner crowd. The fourth-generation (introduced for 2006 in coupe form, with the convertible arriving a year later) just continued the slide.
