honda accord 1999 UK car air filter doesnt fit, help?

i have purchased an induction air filter for a 99 UK honda accord. Unfortunately, the air intake is oval shaped and the air filter is circular!!

Is there anyway i can attach the filter to the intake pipe??

Please help, or

Its a UK accord! are you in the states because USDM accords are different form EDM.

are you sure you got the OEM air filter?

you probably got the wrong aftermarket filter,

make sure you always got the specs
