Capacitor in between car battery and main fuse box?

Would it be of any benefit to put a .5 farad capacitor in between the car battery and main fuse box? How would this affect my car good or bad? Thanks in advance
from what i know, capacitors aren't connected in series with your load. so when you say connecting the capacitor between your battery and the fuse box, you really mean connecting the capacitor on the battery with each terminal connected to one terminal
