Will car battery work after sitting overnight?

My sisters car battery is dead after the lights were left on. The hood won't open because the hood release latch is broken. If the car just sits all night will it work in the morning?

Best to get the hood latch fixed, so you can check all under hood, but for emergency type fix if you have a spot light or a plug in that will fit the cig lighter you can use a 1 amp charger through it, but you have to wire it correct so the plus side
