My car wont start I think its ths starter...Can someone please help?

I had just driven my car for about an hour pulled into a gas station turned it off and went to turn it back on but it would not start. There was a clicking noise, the batter works just fine all lights came on, lights do not dim when I try to start.

The clicking noise is a result of insuffiecient electrical current reaching the starter motor.

This could be cause by a defective cell in a battery, or by a point of high resistance inbetween your battery and your starter motor.
