Does the 1997 and later Geo Metro engine have the same transmission mounting dimensions as the earlier models?

I want to know if the bolting dimensions are the same for the older 3 cyl engines and the newer 4 cyl versions. I want to do an EV conversion, and the kit I'm interested is made to work with the older Geo Metros, and I don't know if it will work with

Yes it will work, I had a 1997 Metro and the transmission torn up, I searched thru junkyards for weeks and all I could come up with was a 90 swift. With no other options I pulled it and purchased it and come to find out it bolted right up and worked fine.
